National Football League star Chad Ochocinco of the Cincinatti Bengals met with Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of Real Madrid's squad Friday during a visit to the club's training grounds.
"I follow Real Madrid, so it is an incredible experience to be here and meet the players," said the receiver, who turns 33 on Sunday and is friends with Ronaldo.
"I greatly admire Cristiano. He is very fast, but not as fast as I am. I would love to race him."
Real coach Jose Mourinho showed Ochocinco the pitch of Real's training grounds at Valdebebas just outside the Spanish capital and joked that the NFL player should train with the team.
Ochocinco, wearing a black sweatshirt and grey jeans, then posed for a photo with the entire squad, who were decked out in their white and black Real uniforms.
Real host third-place Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday in what will be their toughest home league match of the season so far.
