Mourinho defends selfishness of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid

Analyzing the offensive system of Real Madrid, the Portuguese José Mourinho defended the "positive selfish" Cristiano Ronaldo and said he was pleased with the performance of the team's attack.
The coach is not concerned with the individualism of his attackers at the time of conclusion, preferring to defend the qualities of Cristiano Ronaldo.

"For me it is a positive selfishness, a great feature of the strikers who score lots of goals. If you can join this selfishness with positive team play, the situation is perfect. But to be individualistic, it has to be a player very unbalanced, as ours, " he added.
In addition, the coach gave the example of the second goal of the last game for Real Madrid against Espanyol, while Cristiano Ronaldo pulled counter-attack and played for Higuain to score.

"My team works as a team and against Espanyol, already winning by 3-0, Ronaldo returned to help the defense in a corner. When you do that, it's not selfish, it is team player," he said.
Mourinho took the opportunity to praise the performance of Higuain and "highly motivated" to Benzema, who has warned it will have more opportunities. The coach did not rule out forming a team with two center-forwards in parts of the upcoming games.
"Higuain is not required to sacrifice to play with Benzema. Now we are preparing for pre-season to play at 4-4-2. And with three attackers, as the face of Mallorca, when we have done a great match, but not by joining the two. Benzema needs more opportunities because they have shown great motivation to do the things required by me.
