Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo training seven hours a day to be fit for Champions League clash against Tottenham - report
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been working tirelessly to be fit for los Blancos' Champions League fixture with Tottenham at the start of April.
The Portuguese international injured his hamstring during the 2-1 victory in the Madrid derby against Atletico, and will play no part in his nation's international fixture against Finland this week.
According to AS, the former Manchester United forward is currently working for up to seven hours a day with a specialist trainer in order to be fit for the quarter-final first-leg at the Santiago Bernabeu in just over a weeks time, and his eagerness has seen the influential attacker train every day at Madrid's facility.
Coach Jose Mourinho will likely rest his forward against Sporting this weekend, should the match go ahead, in order to give Ronaldo the maximum amount of time to recover before the game on April 5.
